Transafix Fixing Strap No. 3

Bladder catheters are used in all different kinds of diseases. A discreet use as well as an unrestricted mobility of the patient is necessary for medical and practical reasons. Therefore, it is especially significant to be able to fix the catheter so it is secured on the body but also adjustable to the movement of the patient. Our Transafix Fastening Strip No. 3 offers the perfect solution.

The basic carrier of the Velcro strap is the Transpore carrier patch. It contains an integrated Velcro Strap with which the leads can be fixed securely.

The catheter can either move freely within the Velcro strap or be fixed securely by taking of the protective foil, uncovering an adhesive film. The Velcro strap can be opened and closed as often as you like. Hence, the fastening strip doesn’t have to be removed when exchanging the catheter.

The adhesive is breathable and gentle to the skin and can stay on the skin for a longer period of time, even on sensitive skin. It is adaptable and has a strong hold but can also be removed without any residue.
