Transafix Neo Fixing Dot

Since not all their organs are able to work on their own, premature babies need profound monitoring. In many cases, the infants need oxygen probes or gastric tubes. In order to protect the very sensitive skin of the babies and to simplify the workflow of the nurses, we developed our Transafix Neo Fixing dot.

The Transafix Neo Fixing Dots have the perfect size for fixing smaller volumes such as oxygen probes or gastric tubes. The carrier patch of the round plaster is a white, soft polyester fleece.

The probe is simply attached to the infant’s skin with help of the plaster. Due to its silicone gel adhesive the plaster can be attached and removed at any time without irritating the skin.

The fixation is breathable and very gentle to the skin. It can be used for a longer term on the sensitive skin of the babies and can be removed painlessly and without any residue. At the same time, it is very flexible and adaptable to the surface of the skin.
