Cancellation Policy

Consumers have a fourteen-day right of cancellation.

Right of cancellation

You have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the last item of goods.

To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us (Transatlantic Handelsgesellschaft Stolpe & Co. mbH, Siemensstr. 21-23, 61267 Neu-Anspach, Germany, info@transat.de, phone: 06081 943050) of your decision to cancel this contract by means of an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model cancellation form for this purpose, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification concerning your exercise of the right of cancellation before the cancellation period has expired.

Consequences of cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we must reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your cancellation of this contract. We will use the same means of payment for this reimbursement as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees as a result of this reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must send back or hand over the goods to us or to Transatlantic Handelsgesellschaft Stolpe & Co. mbH (Bruchweg 23, 38822 Halberstadt, Germany) without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired. You bear the direct costs of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

The right of cancellation does not apply to the following contracts:

• Contracts for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if their seal has been removed after delivery.
