Up to 30% lighter with the same lead equivalent value

We rely on innovative material and offer two variants: Lead-free or lead-reduced. Our lead-free materials significantly reduce the weight of radiation protection clothing without compromising on protection. The lead-reduced materials also offer an excellent balance between protection and comfort.

In order to optimally protect areas of the body that are heavily exposed to radiation - such as the chest, upper body, gonads and thyroid gland - it is advisable to select radiation protective clothing according to individual requirements. For the ideal fit of radiation protective clothing, you should consider the following: The apron or skirt must completely cover the knees. The armholes should be as small as possible but as large as necessary.

Lead-reduced

The inner material of the lead-reduced clothing consists of a polymer-lead compound. It is approx. 30% lighter than comparable products on the market and still has the same protective effect.

Lead-free

Our lead-free material is environmentally friendly and can be recycled. The material consists of heavy metals. This gives you the safe radiation protection of conventional X-ray clothing without the disadvantages (high weight, development of intrinsic radiation, etc.) of lead. In addition, the lead-free articles are approx. 30% lighter than conventional, lead-containing radiation protection clothing.
