You can now find all the advantages of our tried and tested Transafix Fixing Straps in our convenient monthly pack for travelling or at home.
Nasal and gastric tubes, as well as feeding tubes and drains, are often positioned in such a way that they interfere with patient comfort. With our Transafix Fixing Strap No. 1, we have developed a solution with which the lines can be fixed to the body without affecting the patient.
The Transafix Fixing Strap No. 1 is perfect for fixing smaller volumes, for example in children. The base carrier for the Velcro strip, which is used to securely attach the probes or lines, is the Transpore Carrier Patch.
The wire or probe can either move freely in the Velcro flap or be fixed in place by removing the Protective Cover, thus exposing an adhesive layer. The Velcro flap can be opened and closed as often as required, meaning that it is not necessary to replace the Fixing Strap when changing probes or similar.
The Plaster is breathable and gentle on the skin and can be applied to sensitive skin for longer periods. It is adaptable and has a strong hold, but can also be removed without leaving any residue.
We only use high-quality VELCRO® brand hook and loop fasteners in our Transafix products.
