The X-ray caterpillar is the ideal aid for safe and gentle handling of the X-ray cassette on the patient for both patient and carer. The innovative principle of the self-sliding X-ray caterpillar, in which the X-ray caterpillar is simply inserted under the patient, represents a major advance in the use of X-ray cassettes on patients. In order to fulfil the strict hygiene requirements, the X-ray caterpillar can be easily wipe-disinfected.
