The disposable Gliding Cover is a tubular film that is skin-friendly, biocompatible and food-safe. It can be used for various position changes and transfers of people. The special composition of the material supports the high gliding properties when used in daily care. It can be used over the rollboard to support it when rolling, but can also be used to reposition a patient without any other aids. The use of Gliding Cover contributes to a fast, hygienic and safe transfer application for carers and largely reduces the potential dangers when moving people as required by the Occupational Health and Safety Act, the Load Handling Ordinance and the accident prevention regulations of the employers' liability insurance association.
