In addition to our fixation strips with a practical Velcro tab, we also offer nasal tube fixations for gastric or oxygen tubes, Endotracheal tube fixations for secure and hygienic intubation as well as classic catheter fixations.
Fixation Strips
Transfix fixation strips have been in use for more than 30 years in all areas of care. The basic carrier of the Velcro strap is the Transpore carrier patch, which is suitable for long-term applications*. It includes an integrated Velcro fastener, with which the supply lines can be fixed to an adhesive surface.
ET Tube Fixation
Secure and comfortable fixation is important, especially during the application of Endotracheal tubes. Our Transafix ET Tube Fixation Set offers the perfect solution for this purpose. The set consists of two parts, 2 cheek pads, available in non-woven or hydrocolloid, as well as a soft, 40 cm long fixation strap. The holder can be individually adjusted and thus is suitable for all sizes.
Nasal Tube Fixation
The use of nasogastric tubes is a frequent application in hospitals. The tube is inserted through the nose of the patient into the stomach. Therefore, the tube must be fixed securely on the bridge of the nose. Our Transafix Nasal Fixation System offers the perfect solution for this purpose. The combination of nasal holder, available in skin-tone non-woven or hydrocolloid, and the nasal strap make the system ready to use.
IV Cannula Fixation
Our cannula fixation with non-adhesive wound dressing features outstanding adhesion properties and is very well-tolerated by the skin. As a result, it may remain on the skin for up to 7 days. It can be removed pain- and residue-free.
