For the fixation of PEG and CAPD as well as for the pull relief of infusion tubes or other medical tubing, we developed our Transafix Fastening Strip No. 2, offering an optimal solution for a safe and secure fixation.
The basic carrier of the Velcro strap is the Transpore carrier patch. It contains an integrate VELCRO® brand strap with which the leads can be fixed securely.
The lead or probe can either move freely within the Velcro strap or be fixed securely by taking of the protective cover, uncovering an adhesive film. The Velcro strap can be opened and closed as often as you like. Hence, the fastening strip doesn’t have to be removed when exchanging the tubing.
The adhesive is breathable and gentle to the skin and can stay on the skin for a longer period of time, even on sensitive skin. It is adaptable and has a strong hold but can also be removed without any residue.
